This extensive article on NCD Zeolite was removed as a result of a lawsuit threat by a Waiora distributor and a subsequent verbal agreement between us. Frankly, I do not need this kind of interruption in my health practice, nor did I want to receive any more hate emails from distributors, which happened with some frequency.

I do not recommend taking any non-food based materials except for those that have had a long history of safety, such as kaolin, a clay used in the over the counter medication Kaopectate. Waiora literature suggests that NCD Liquid Zeolite is absorbed into the bloodstream, and there is really no way to know what happens to it thereafter. We do not know whether it can possibly block the human cell's calcium channel, or worse, enter the cell through it. We do not know how it is excreted. There are no clinical studies showing its long-term safety for animals or humans.

Furthermore, I am suspicious of any product sold exclusively through an Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) program. Historically these have been dangerous frauds, such as some silver-based products, marketing scams such as Amway (aka Network Marketing), or just plain overpriced outlets for overblown quality claims, such as Usana.

However, there are testimonials by people, as well as some doctors, who have been using the material for detoxification of autistic children, so all that I can say is that the "jury is still out." If there is clinical evidence of safety and the individual testimonials reach the level of a general understanding of true efficacy, then certainly I would not want to impede such use.
