There are natural therapies for most of our illnesses, diseases, and afflictions, some ancient and some quite recent. Most doctors do not know about them, because their primary source of medical information is the pharmaceutical industry, and they are trained in medical school to be very skeptical of natural medicine.
You will probably not find out about them in your local newspaper or in Time or Newsweek, because natural medicines do not pay advertising revenue. The editors and publishers practice self-censorship - they rarely have news stories about natural therapies that would take the place of the products of their advertisers. They rely on the advice of medical "experts" who, more often than not, are public relations agents of the drug companies or doctors who know nothing about natural medicine.
Jonathan Campbell publishes a free monthly email newsletter called CQS HealthAlert containing information about natural therapies and sources where you can find out more. He has no vitamin or supplement products to sell, although he will sometimes mention a new or unusual natural herbal formulation and the manufacturer's name, or provide an example of a source of nutritional supplements. He does not receive any revenue from promoting any particular supplements or nutritional products.
